One of the fellows from Fuck Buttons, Benjamin John Power, is working under the moniker Blanck Mass, and as I tweeted last night, the album is pretty incredible when it comes to textured, repetitive, droney noise. The music is fairly slow and never really goes anywhere (if I remember correctly the first track just stops). It’s mechanical and digital, yet holds on to a really human sound. Because of non-audio circumstance I can’t watch the video right now, but I’m sharing because I love you.
Released on Rock Action, which you might know is Mogwai’s label.
